As you know so well the Covid pandemic has upset our lives for more than two years. It has stretched some people beyond their limits creating anxiety, loneliness, suffering, and sorrow; but it has also moved others to hope, to wish, to pray and look forward to a better day.
We are collectively experiencing the Paschal mystery as never before in our lifetimes … our faith in the resurrected Jesus brings us to live in the hope that “He has made all things new” and that even now “God dwells among us”. This is what I have tried to convey by the theme of this year’s poster: “He will wipe every tear”.
Collectively we share our hope and our support in whatever way we can. I humbly ask you again to remember the Holy See’s appeal to support our brothers and sisters and the Church of the Holy Land. I know that our own churches are probably not going to overflow during this year’s celebrations of the Triduum; and I know it is not easy for you to reach your parishioners.
